Gauri Ganesh Kirana Store

Gauri Ganesh Kirana Store is our place in Kota. We are at Shop Number 4 on the Vigyan Nagar Main Road, right near the old police station. In a place like Kota, everything is always moving, but our shop stays pretty much the same. We sell groceries and daily household items. You can find things like spices, pulses, and cleaning supplies here. The shop is small and the shelves are packed tightly. Sometimes we have to move three things just to get to one. It is just the way it is in a local kirana store. We get a lot of students coming in because of all the hostels nearby. They usually want instant noodles or biscuits. We also serve the families who have lived in Vigyan Nagar for decades. My brother and I run the shop together. We do not have a website or any of that fancy stuff. We just open the doors in the morning and wait for people to stop by. Sometimes the fans do not work right and it gets very hot, but we manage. We are not trying to compete with the big malls. We just provide what the local people need every day. It is a simple life and we are happy with it. Most people who come here know us by our first names. We try to keep the staples ready.
