Garima Confectionery

Garima Confectionery is situated on Sarover Takiz Road, right in the Shivaji Market area. It’s a small place, mostly filled with glass jars of sweets, packets of biscuits, and whatever snacks are popular at the moment. We get a lot of kids coming in after school with a few coins, looking for something sugary. It’s nice to see their faces, though they can be a bit indecisive. We also stock some basic items for the local households. The shop isn't fancy; the shelves are just plain wood, and the floor has seen better days. We spend quite a bit of time dusting the jars and rearranging the stock so people can see what we have. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late, and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow for their favorite biscuits. The road outside can get quite busy, especially when there’s a movie letting out at the nearby theatre. We stay open late most nights because that's when people are out walking and want a quick snack. It’s a simple routine of opening up, sweeping the front, and waiting for the regulars to stop by for a chat. We don't do anything big or complicated. It’s just a neighborhood shop where you can get a cold drink or a pack of chips. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighborhood feels like home. It’s just us, doing our bit in the market every day.
