Gangotri Gift Shop

Gangotri Gift Shop sits right on Rawatbhata Road in Gumanpura. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the cars passing by. I spend a lot of my time cleaning the glass shelves because of that. We have been here for a while, selling things like birthday decorations, small toys, and household gifts. It’s not a huge place, but we try to keep a bit of everything so people don't have to go too far to find what they need. Sometimes the shop feels a little cramped when we get new stock in, especially before the big festival months. I usually have boxes piled up in the corner for a few days until I can find a spot for everything. It’s just me and my nephew running things most of the time. We don't have any big corporate plans; we just want to keep the shop running and help the people who live nearby. People around here know they can just drop in and find a simple gift without a lot of trouble. I like seeing the same faces every week. Some of the kids who used to come in for marbles now come in to buy gifts for their own children. Time goes by fast when you are working every day. It is a humble little shop, and we are happy to stay right here on the main road for as long as we can.
