Gandhi Watch Company & Mobile Service Center

Our shop is over in Gumanpura. We handle both watches and mobile phones because that is what people in the neighborhood need. It is a busy place, Gandhi Watch Company & Mobile Service Center, though the name is a bit long for such a small shop. We have counters filled with watch bands and phone cases. Behind the counter is where the real work happens. We have two different workstations—one for the delicate watch repairs and one for the mobile electronics. It can get a bit hectic when several people come in at once wanting things fixed right away. We try to work as fast as we can, but some things just take time. We see a lot of cracked phone screens and watches that have stopped because of a dead battery or water damage. Gumanpura is a loud, active market, so there is always something going on outside our door. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people who walk by. We don't use any big machines, just our hands and some basic tools. Sometimes the parts we need take a few days to arrive, so we have to ask customers to be patient. It’s just a regular shop where we do our best to fix what’s broken. We keep the mobile chargers and watch bands in the same bins because we know where everything is. The shop is small but it has everything we need. We don't spend money on marketing, we just wait for people to find us in the market.
