Galav Kirana Store

Our kirana store is situated on Baran Road in the Borkheda area of Kota. We are close to the Nenani landmark, which most people around here know well. We have been selling groceries and household items from this spot for several years. It is a straightforward business where we focus on having the basics available for our neighbors. You will find big sacks of grain, lentils, and all the usual spices used in local cooking. We also keep a variety of soaps, detergents, and small snacks for the kids who stop by after school. The shop gets a bit dusty because of the road, but we do our best to keep things clean. It’s mostly just us working here throughout the day. We don't have a website or any of that, we just open the shutters and wait for people to come in. The Rajasthan sun can be quite strong, so the afternoons are usually a bit slow. That’s when we catch up on our inventory or just rest for a bit. We know which brands our customers prefer and we try to keep those in stock. It’s a quiet life, but it keeps us connected to the community. We don't aim for anything huge, just a steady shop that people can rely on for their weekly supplies. It's about being there when someone realizes they've run out of milk or salt at the last minute and needs a quick fix. We just keep things moving and help out where we can.
