Gahrine Provision Store

You can find Gahrine Provision Store on the road between Ramganj Mandi and Suket. It is a main route, so we get quite a bit of passing traffic along with our regular local customers. I opened this store because there were not many places to get good supplies on this stretch of the road. We sell all the basics—grains, pulses, snacks, and toiletries. It is a straightforward shop with wooden counters and shelves that reach up to the ceiling. I use a ladder to get the things from the top. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when the school bus drops off the kids nearby and they all want biscuits or sweets at once. My wife helps me manage the accounts in the evenings after she finishes her work at home. We try to keep the shop clean, but with the Suket Road being so busy, the dust always finds its way inside. We have a small fridge for cold drinks which is very popular during the summer months. I do not believe in overcomplicating things. We buy what people want, we put it on the shelf, and we sell it for a fair price. If a customer needs something we do not have, I try to pick it up the next time I go to the bigger market. It is a simple life running a store here, and we enjoy talking to the people who stop by our counter.
