G L Watch Emporium

Our shop, G L Watch Emporium, is located at number 188 in the Shopping Centre. It’s a busy spot with lots of other shops around, so there’s always people walking by and looking in the window. We’ve got a variety of watches on display, from the ones kids like to wear to some more serious ones for adults. The space is small, so we have to be organized with how we stack the boxes and where we keep the repair tools. Mostly, we spend our time sitting at the small desk in the corner, working on watches that have stopped ticking. It might be a loose hand or just some dirt stuck in the gears. The Shopping Centre has its own rhythm, getting really crowded in the evenings and on weekends. We see all kinds of people coming through. Some just want a new battery for their remote or a small calculator watch, while others bring in things that belonged to their grandfathers. We do our best to help them out without making it complicated. It's a simple life here at 188. We open up the shutters, turn on the lights, and wait to see who walks in. It’s not a corporate chain, just a local shop where we know many of the faces passing by. The mall atmosphere is loud, but our little corner stays focused on the clocks.
