Our place is located at Florence Green in Gyan Sarovar Colony, right behind Saint John's School on Bundi Road. Working with stone is heavy and dirty work, there is no way around that. We spend most of our time out in the yard or in the shed where the cutting happens. The sound of the saws through the sandstone is constant during the day. We have stacks of different stones all over the property. It looks a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we know exactly where each pile is. Being near the school means we have to be careful about the noise and the dust at certain times. Bundi Road is quite busy, and we get a lot of trucks coming in and out. It’s a lot of physical labor, loading the slabs and making sure they don't crack. We wear sturdy boots and old clothes because everything gets covered in stone dust within ten minutes. It is not a corporate setup at all. We sit around a plain wooden table when we need to discuss things. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, so we take our breaks in the shade of the warehouse. We’ve been in Gyan Sarovar Colony for a while now. Dealing with natural stone means every piece is a bit different, and we just handle it as it comes. It is honest, rugged work that keeps us busy from morning until night without much of a break.
