Electrical Manufacturing Company Limited

The Electrical Manufacturing Company Limited is based out of 20, Shibpore Hazrapara over in Tribeni. This is in the Hooghly district. It takes a little while to get out here if you are coming from the main city, but it’s a good, quiet spot for a manufacturing facility. We are located right in the middle of a regular neighborhood. You will often see cows or goats walking past the gates while we are busy loading up the crates. It has a very local, rural feel to it. The building itself is older and has plenty of character from all the years we've been here. We do all of our manufacturing work right on these premises. There isn't a corporate headquarters in some fancy skyscraper for us. We just have this one main place in Shibpore. The air feels a bit fresher out here than it does in the middle of Kolkata. We have a crew of workers who know exactly what needs to be done every day. Most of us actually grew up in this area or nearby. We don't believe in spending money on fancy advertisements or shiny signs. We just focus on the assembly lines and making sure every part is made correctly. The local shops and neighbors know us well. If we need a specific tool, we usually just go borrow it from someone down the road. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we stay busy enough.
