Dipak Mobile&General Store

Dipak Mobile & General Store is located in Kasar, which is on the Jalawarad Road side of Kota. We decided to combine a mobile shop with a general store because that’s what people in this area were asking for. One side of the shop has glass cases for phones and chargers, while the other side has the usual household items like soap and snacks. It’s a bit of a mix, but it works for us. I spend a lot of my time helping people with their phone recharges or showing them how to use a new accessory they bought. Then I’ll have to switch and weigh out some sugar for another customer. It keeps me on my feet all day. The shop isn't very large, so things are stacked pretty close together. Kasar is a quiet enough place, but being on the main road means we get people stopping their motorbikes to grab something quick. My brother helps me out during the busy hours in the evening. We don’t do any big advertising. People just see the sign when they drive past. Sometimes the mobile network acts up, and we have to wait a bit to process things. It's a small business, and we're just trying to provide what’s useful for the people living nearby. I’ve learned a lot about fixing minor phone issues just by doing it every day. It’s a decent way to make a living here in Rajasthan and we hope to stay here for many more years.
