Deepak Medical

Deepak Medical is located in Sector 6, along Teen Batti Road in Keshavpura, Kota. We are a small pharmacy serving the people in this neighborhood. It’s not a huge place, but we try to keep all the common medicines and healthcare items people might need. Running a medical store is different from a regular grocery shop because people come here when they aren't feeling well. We have to be careful with the prescriptions and make sure we give the right thing. I’ve been working here for a long time, and I know most of the elderly people in the sector. They come in for their blood pressure or sugar tablets every month. Sometimes they just want to talk about their health for a bit. The shop is very clean, we have to keep it that way. We have a small fridge for the injections and syrups that need to stay cold. Sometimes the power goes out, and I have to make sure the backup is working. It’s a lot of responsibility, but it’s what we do. The area is mostly residential, so it’s pretty quiet in the afternoons. I usually spend that time checking the expiry dates on the strips. My cousin sometimes sits with me during the evening shift to help out. We don't have any flashy lights or big advertisements. People just know where we are when they need something. It’s a quiet, steady life here in Sector 6, and we are just doing our part.
