Dangi Stones

Dangi Stones is located over at E21 Growth Centre in the Jhalawar district. It is a bit of a drive out here but that is where all the industrial action happens. Being in the Growth Centre means we are surrounded by a lot of other businesses doing similar work with stone and materials. The area is pretty spread out and you see a lot of heavy vehicles coming through all the time. We spend most of our days out in the yard dealing with the blocks and slabs that come in. Jhalawar has its own rhythm and the weather can get quite hot which makes the work a bit tiring sometimes. We do not have a big office team or anything polished like that. It is mostly just us handling the day-to-day tasks and making sure the stones are ready when someone asks for them. The ground is usually covered in stone dust and we have to move things around with the crane quite often to find what we are looking for. People who come to see us usually know exactly what they want so we do not spend much time talking about fancy things. We just show them what is available in the yard and go from there. It is a practical way to run a business and it works for us being out here in the district.
