Damodhar General Store

If you walk through the Men Bazar in Hastara, near Chomu, you will see our shop. We are located right in the middle of the local activity, close to the Panchayat Samiti in Govindgarh Chomu. This is a rural market area, so things work a bit differently here than in the big cities. People come from the nearby villages to do their shopping, especially on market days. Our store is filled with all the essentials like grains, sugar, and various household goods. We also keep some items that the farmers might need while they are out here. It is a busy place, and there is always a lot of dust and noise from the tractors and vehicles passing through the bazar. We spend our time weighing out portions of pulses or packing up bags of flour for customers who come in. The shop does not have any modern decorations; it is just wooden shelves and old counters that have been here for years. We know most of our customers by their names because they have been coming here for a long time. It is a lot of hard work, especially during the harvest season when everyone is busy and needs things quickly. We just keep the store running and make sure we have what people are looking for when they make the trip into town. It is a simple life in a busy market and we like it.
