Daiwala Kirana Store

If you walk toward Gumanpura Ghantaghar, you will see our place, Daiwala Kirana Store. It’s a small shop, really. We keep the usual things people need for their kitchens and homes. It gets loud around the Ghantaghar area because of all the traffic and people moving around. We have been here for a good amount of time. The shelves are usually packed, maybe a bit too much sometimes. It’s hard to keep everything perfectly straight when customers are coming in and out all day. We aren't trying to be a big supermarket. Just a local kirana store where you can grab what you forgot to buy earlier. The floor is a bit worn out from all the walking. We open up early in the morning. Gumanpura is always awake early, so we have to be too. We talk to the neighbors, see the same faces every day. It’s nice. We don't have a website or anything. Just the shop by the clock tower. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have boxes sitting around for a bit. We just move them when we can. It is a simple life running a store like this. We know where everything is, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. If you are near Gumanpura Ghantaghar, that is where we stay. We don't need much else besides our regular customers and a cup of tea in the afternoon. It works.
