About Chhanganmal Asudan Kirana Store – Food & Beverages in Kota
This is our small kirana store in Rampura Bazar. We sell basic things like flour, pulses, spices, and soap. My father started this, and now we just keep it going. The shelves are usually full, but sometimes things get a bit messy when a big delivery comes in. It’s a crowded area, so there’s always noise outside. We open early in the morning because that's when people want their milk and bread. We know what our regulars like. If someone needs a particular kind of tea, we usually have it tucked away somewhere. We weigh things out by hand most of the time. The floor is concrete and a bit worn down from people walking in and out all day. We don't have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that hums. It gets hot in the summer, but we stay behind the counter. We keep a ledger for the regular neighbors who pay at the end of the month. It's a simple life. We don't spend money on fancy signs or anything. Just the name on the front and the bags of grain on the floor. It’s just a grocery shop for the people living nearby. We try to keep the staples in stock so nobody has to go too far. We’ve been here in Rampura Bazar for years and we don't plan on going anywhere. It is just a part of the daily routine for us and the locals. We stay open late most nights too.
