Chawla Supari Store

Chawla Supari Store is located in Baxpuri Kund Ki Gali, which is a tiny lane inside Rampura Bazar. Our shop is at number 245. It is the kind of narrow street that you might miss if you are not looking for it. We have been here for a long time, and we mostly deal in different kinds of supari and other small items like that. The shop is quite small and it always has a very specific smell of spices and dried nuts. We spend a lot of our time sorting through the stock and making sure everything is put away properly. Because we are in such a hidden part of the bazaar, we mostly see people who have been coming to us for years. We do not get many strangers or tourists wandering in. People come to us because their parents used to shop here. We do not have any big signs or bright lights to attract attention. The shop is very simple and a bit dark inside. We usually just sit on small stools and talk with the customers while we weigh out their orders. It is a much slower pace of life inside our shop compared to the busy streets of Rampura Bazar. We take our time and do not feel the need to rush anyone. We have seen the market change over the years, but our shop stays the same. We are just happy to keep our small tradition going. It is a simple way to live and work.
