Charan General Store

We've been at the shopping center in Kota for quite a while now. It's just a regular store where people come for their daily stuff. Most folks around here know where 351 is, right near the main walkway. It isn't a huge place, but we try to keep the shelves full of things you actually need every day. My family helps out behind the counter most mornings. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when people are coming home from work, but we manage. We aren't trying to be fancy or anything. Just a local spot to pick up sugar, soap, or whatever ran out at home. The building is older, but it stays cool enough in the summer. If you live around this part of Rajasthan, you probably walk past us all the time. I spend a lot of time checking the inventory and making sure everything is in the right spot. It’s a lot of work keeping up with what people want. We see the same faces every week, which is nice. It feels like a small community even though Kota is growing so fast. People stop by for a chat while they wait. That’s just how it goes here. We open early and stay open until the sun goes down. Nothing more to it than that. Just a shop doing its thing at the 324007 area. I try to keep the stock full of what people are looking for. It's just us here most days, making sure the jars are clean and the change is ready for the morning rush.
