Bheru Lal Kirana Store

Bheru Lal Kirana Store is located in Prem Nagar 3, right along the DCM Road in Kota. This area stays pretty active because of all the vehicles moving through. We have been here serving the local families for a long time. It’s a basic kirana shop where we keep things like rice, lentils, and spices in big open bags or plastic containers. The air always smells a bit like cumin and turmeric inside. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack the crates of cold drinks outside when it gets crowded. We know most of the people who live in the surrounding lanes of Prem Nagar. It’s nice when someone stops by just to say hello while they are out for a walk. We have some old wooden benches where people sometimes sit for a minute. My hands are usually a bit dusty from weighing out the flour or sugar on the scales. We don't have fancy lights, just a few tubelights that flicker sometimes. Rajasthan summers are tough, so we keep the water pot filled for anyone who is thirsty. We don't do any advertising. People just know we are here on the main road. It is just a simple business that keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We take care of the stock and make sure the shelves aren't empty when the morning rush starts for breakfast items.
