You can find us over at 25-A, Vigyan Nagar Extn. It is a bit of a quiet area compared to the main market, but we like it that way. Bharat Stones has been operating from this same spot for a long time. We deal with all sorts of stone materials. Most mornings start with checking the inventory and seeing what got sold the day before. The yard at Vigyan Nagar Extn gets a lot of sun, so it can be tiring working outside all day. We have a small office where we handle the paperwork, but most of the time we are out back with the stones. People come here when they are building a new wall or fixing up a patio. We do not have a flashy showroom. It is just the slabs and pieces laid out so you can see the texture and the actual color. Sometimes the rain makes everything muddy, and it is a pain to move the heavier pieces when the ground is soft. We just make do with what we have. It is a family-run kind of feel here, even if we are not all related. We know the regulars and we know which contractors are always in a rush. We do not try to push people into buying things they do not need. If they want a cheap stone for a rough job, we show them that. If they want something nicer, we have that too. It is just about having what people are looking for at that moment.
