Bathla Minerals

We spend most of our days here at B-258 on Road No. 6. It’s right in the middle of the Indraprastha Industrial Area, so you can imagine the noise and the dust. We’ve been handling minerals for a while now. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, but it keeps us busy. Most mornings start with checking the stock and seeing what needs to go out on the trucks. The sun gets pretty hot out here in the yard during the summer months, and there isn't much shade. Our neighbors are mostly other workshops and factories, so there’s always someone moving something heavy nearby. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a place where we get the work done. People come by to talk about orders, and we usually just sit in the back office where it’s a bit quieter. Sometimes the traffic on Road No. 6 gets backed up with all the big lorries, which makes things slow down a bit for everyone. We just keep at it, weighing things out and making sure the piles are sorted. There’s a tea stall just down the way that we visit twice a day. It’s a simple routine. We’ve seen the industrial area change over the years, more buildings going up where there used to be empty plots. But we’re still here at B-258, doing the same sort of things we’ve always done. It’s practical work and it suits us just fine.
