Apna Kirana & General Store

We are located over at C-46, Power House Road. It’s right in Dadabadi, Kota. Being in Vaff Nagar means we see a lot of students and families passing by. This is Apna Kirana & General Store. We’ve been here since the neighborhood started filling up. It's a small shop, honestly. We keep basic things like pulses, rice, soaps, and snacks. The weather in Rajasthan gets pretty hot, so we try to keep the shop cool for whoever walks in. People usually come in for small things they forgot during their big grocery run. We know most of our customers by name. It’s not a supermarket. It’s just a room filled with shelves. We open early and close late. Sometimes the power goes out on Power House Road, which is funny if you think about it. We just use a torch and keep going. My brother helps me with the accounts. We don't do home delivery really, but if someone lives right next door, we might carry the heavy bags for them. We like being part of the 324001 area. It feels like home because it is home. We don't have fancy lights or displays. Just the stuff people need every day. If you’re around Dadabadi, you probably have walked past us. We are just a regular kirana shop doing our thing day in and day out. We hope to stay here for many more years as the city grows around us. It's nothing special, just a store.
