Annu Stationers & Gift Shop

My shop, Annu Stationers & Gift Shop, is located at number 1, right opposite the Chaman Hotel in Nayapura. Being so close to the hotel and the main road means we see all kinds of people every day. I started this place to provide basic stationery for the students and office workers around here, and then I added gifts because people kept asking for them. We have stacks of notebooks, pens, and pencils right next to rows of mugs and showpieces. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, especially when the school season starts and everyone needs new supplies at once. I usually open up quite early so the students can grab what they need before their classes begin. The Chaman Hotel across the street brings in some travelers who come in looking for small items or gifts to take back home. I don't have any polished displays or professional lighting. It’s just a standard shop with wooden shelves and a lot of stock. I try to keep everything in order, but with so many small items, it’s a constant job. I enjoy the rhythm of the neighborhood and the familiar sound of the traffic outside. Most of my customers are regulars who live nearby, and we usually have a quick chat while I’m bagging their items. It’s a straightforward business, and I’m happy to be right here in the middle of Nayapura where all the action is.
