Amar Kirana Store

Amar Kirana Store is sitting at number 334 in the Shopping Centre. We have been running this place for a good amount of time and it is basically where we spend all our hours. From the time we open up the shutters in the morning until we close at night, it is a steady stream of people looking for pulses, oil, sugar, and other kitchen stuff. The shelves are packed pretty tight because we try to keep a bit of everything so people don't have to go to three different places. Sometimes it is hard to find things quickly but we know exactly where every bag and jar is hidden. The Shopping Centre gets quite a lot of foot traffic, especially in the evenings when everyone is finishing work. We see the same faces every week, which is nice. We carry all the basic household brands and some loose items too. My son helps with the heavy lifting when the new stock arrives on the tempos. It’s not a big supermarket with bright lights, just a normal corner shop where you can get your monthly groceries. We use a simple notebook to keep track of things and we don't really do much advertising. People just know we are here at 334. Dealing with change and loose coins is the biggest headache every day. We just try to keep the stock fresh and the floor swept as much as possible between customers. It keeps us busy enough.
