Akansha Orthopedic Hospital

We are located over at 5 - A - 2 in the Vigyan Nagar neighborhood. If you know where Janak Medical Store is, we’re just a short walk from there. It makes it pretty easy for people to explain where we are to their relatives. This is an orthopedic hospital, so we spend most of our time dealing with folks who have back pain, sore joints, or broken bones from accidents. It’s a lot of physical work for the staff here. The building is a standard size for this part of Vigyan Nagar and has been here for a long time. We have some beds for people who need to stay and a small room for the x-ray machine. It isn't the most modern-looking place you'll ever see, but it works fine for what we need to do. The floors stay busy with people hobbling in and out all day. We spend a lot of time talking to families about how to do exercises at home. It’s a slow process helping someone walk again. Being near the medical store is helpful because people can go right there to get their bandages or medicine after they leave us. We have a small staff that has worked together for years. We know the local area very well. It’s just honest, everyday work. Sometimes the waiting room is totally empty and other times there isn't a single seat left. We don't use any fancy medical jargon if we can help it.
