Agrawal Sweet Home & Namkeen

You will find us over on Chhawani Road, which is a place many people in Kota know well. Agrawal Sweet Home & Namkeen has been around for a bit, and we just go about our work every day without much fuss. The shop is filled with the smell of frying namkeen and the sweetness of the desserts we make in the back. We use the same methods we have always used because they work for us. It gets quite warm in the kitchen, especially when the big pans are going, but that is part of the job. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just us and a few helpers making sure the trays are full. The street outside is usually noisy with traffic, and we see all sorts of people walking by. Some stop for a quick bite, while others take bags of snacks home for their families. We try to keep things simple and let the food speak for itself. We don't spend money on big signs or loud ads. We just open the doors in the morning and stay until the evening. Sometimes we run out of things early, and other days we have plenty left. It is just the way a local shop runs. We are happy to be a small part of the Chhawani area. The sidewalk gets busy in the evenings, but we just keep serving whoever walks through the front door.
