Agarwal Provison Store

We are located over on Nayapura Station Road and it is a very active area to be in. Being so close to the station means we see a lot of people who are just passing through the city. Agarwal Provison Store is a simple shop that sells all the usual things like grains, soaps, and snacks. Every morning starts with us sweeping the front steps because the road gets so much dirt from all the buses and trains. It is a loud neighborhood to work in. You can hear the train whistles and engine noises all day long. We have many regular customers from Nayapura who come in to buy their weekly supplies for their kitchens. We keep everything in large bags and glass jars. The shelves are quite old now but they are strong enough to hold a lot of weight. We do not have any air conditioning so we just use a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day long. It gets very hot during the summer months and we just have to deal with it. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure everything is still good to sell. It is a lot of small repetitive tasks that fill up our hours. We are just a local store that has been on Station Road for a long time. Travelers sometimes stop in for water before their train leaves.
