Most of our customers are locals who come to the mandi every day to shop. They know where we are tucked away. We don't do any big promotions or ads. Word of mouth is how most people hear about us. We spend our afternoons packing up namkeen for the evening rush. It’s hard work, and our backs often ache by the end of a long shift. But that is the nature of a small business. We don't have any corporate polish or fancy words. We just speak to people plainly and give them exactly what they asked for. Purani Sabji Mandi Surajpole is a historic part of the city, and being in the market feels right. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but our little corner stays mostly the same.
