Agarwal Misthan Bandar is over in Kota New Dhanmandi. The mandi is a place of constant movement, with grain sacks and farmers everywhere you look. We are right in the thick of it. Our shop stays busy because of the location. People coming to the market for their own business often stop in for something to eat. We don't have a polished image. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We focus on the sweets. Every morning we start the boilers and get to work making things fresh. It’s a hot job, especially in the Kota summers. We don't have a fancy philosophy about what we do. We just want to make the misthan and sell it to the people who want it. We know most of the people who come through the mandi regularly. It’s a tight-knit community in its own way. We don't spend money on ads or social media. We just rely on being here every single day. Some days the mandi is so crowded you can barely move, and other days it’s a bit slower. We take it as it comes without complaining. Kota New Dhanmandi is a vital part of the city, and we are glad to have our spot here. We are just regular folks working a regular job. Nothing fancy, just Agarwal Misthan Bandar doing our daily routine for the people who stop by.
