About Adinath Namkeen And Store – Food & Beverages in Kota
Our shop, Adinath Namkeen And Store, is right in the Nayapura area. It is a bit of a mix between a snack place and a general store, so we have a variety of things on the shelves. Most of my day is spent weighing out different types of namkeen and putting them into those clear plastic bags. We carry all the usual snacks like bhujia and peanuts that people around here like to buy for their evening tea. Nayapura is a crowded neighborhood, so we get people coming in at all hours for random things they forgot to buy elsewhere. We keep some basic groceries, biscuits, and cold drinks in the fridge too. The store isn't very big, and it can feel a bit cramped when we get a delivery of new stock. I usually sit on a stool near the entrance so I can talk to whoever walks in. Our wooden counters are old and have plenty of scratches, but they have been with us for a long time. Sometimes the street outside gets blocked by rickshaws, and it gets very noisy with all the honking. We just keep the ceiling fan running and focus on our work. We know most of the families who live on the nearby streets. They come in to get snacks for their kids or for when they have people visiting. It is just a regular local shop where we try to keep things simple and take each day as it comes.
