Aanand Kripa General Store

Aanand Kripa General Store is located right on the Main Road in Kota. I am in the Kota H O area, and a good way to find us is to look for the Central Public School M.N. 2nd Kota. Being near a school means my day is dictated by the school bell. Before school starts and right after it ends, the shop gets flooded with students looking for pens, notebooks, or snacks. It gets very loud and hectic for about thirty minutes, and then it goes back to being quiet. I have to keep a close eye on everything when the kids are around. The rest of the time, I serve the people who live along the Main Road. Kota is famous for being a hot place, and the sun beats down on the storefront all afternoon. I have a small stool where I sit and watch the traffic go by. The store has a bit of everything, from household cleaners to packaged food. It is not a very big space, so things are tucked into every corner. I have been running this place at Aanand Kripa General Store for quite a while now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the shelves are a bit mismatched, but it works for what we need. I handle the money, the stock, and the cleaning all by myself. It is just a typical roadside store where I try to have what the locals and the students are looking for.
