If you head down to the Lal Bahadur Shastri Market near the main road, you will find our place, Agrawal Building Material Store. We have been operating out of this market for a good while. It's a crowded area, but that's just part of the job. We keep all sorts of building supplies piled up. Sometimes it feels like there is more material than there is floor space. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. It's just a store where people come to get what they need for their construction or repair work. Most of our day is spent loading or unloading trucks and writing down orders on scrap paper. The market is always loud, and being near the main road means there is plenty of dust. We don’t mind it much anymore. It is just the way things are here. We don't have a fancy mission statement or a team of executives. It's usually just a few of us making sure the right bricks or pipes go to the right person. We know many of the contractors who stop by every week. It’s a practical business. We focus on the stuff sitting in front of us. When people ask where we are, we just tell them to look for us in the Shastri Market. It's a straightforward way to earn a living, and we plan to keep doing it just like this for as long as we can.
