Fancy Collections

Fancy Collections is right in the middle of Shastri Market, specifically in the Gurdwara Bazar area. If you’ve ever walked through the market, you know how crowded it gets, especially on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into the space we have. It can get a bit cramped when more than three or four people are inside at once. We spend most of our day folding things and putting them back on the shelves after customers look through them. It’s a lot of repetitive work, to be honest. The lights in the bazar can be a bit dim sometimes, so we had to add some extra bulbs ourselves. We've been here in Shastri Market for a long time, and we've seen a lot of other shops come and go. We just keep doing our thing. The rent goes up every now and then, which is a worry, but we manage. We don't have a website or anything like that because most of our customers just walk in off the street. It’s a simple way of doing business, face to face. We talk to the other shopkeepers nearby and drink tea when it’s slow. It’s just a normal life running a shop in a busy market. We try to keep things organized, but it’s hard when it gets busy.
