You’ll find Durable Ceramics Pvt. Ltd. right on the Faridkot-Muktsar Byepass. It’s a good spot because people driving between the towns see us easily. We deal with tiles and ceramic goods. Our building is large enough to hold a decent amount of stock, but sometimes we run out of space when a big shipment arrives. The bypass is usually busy with trucks and cars. We spend a lot of time moving crates around. Ceramics are fragile, so you have to be careful with the forklift. We’ve had a few broken pieces over the years, which is always a shame. The staff here is mostly local folks. We don't put on any acts; we just show people the tiles we have and tell them the price. It’s a simple way of doing business. The dust from the road sometimes settles on the displays, so we’re always wiping things down. Working on the bypass means we get a lot of random drop-ins. People stop by while they’re traveling to see what’s new. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us, the tiles, and the road outside. We keep regular hours and try to make sure everyone who leaves is satisfied with what they bought. It’s just a standard business day at our place near the bypass. We enjoy being a part of this community.
