If you head down to Ward No. 9 and get to Dus Lakh Chowk, you'll see us right there on Koshi Project Road. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always something happening right outside the front door. The project road brings in a lot of heavy traffic, and we see plenty of different vehicles throughout the day. I’ve been working at Koshi Automobiles for a bit now, and I’ve seen all kinds of weather hit this chowk. Sometimes the rain makes the road a mess, but we just keep the shutters up and keep working on whatever engine is in front of us. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. There are stacks of tires near the entrance and the smell of oil is pretty much stuck in our clothes forever. People from the ward come by often, mostly for small stuff or just to ask a quick question about their bike. We try to keep the tools organized, but by midday, everything is usually spread out across the floor. It’s a dusty spot because of all the construction traffic passing through, so there's always a bit of grit on the workbenches. We usually eat our lunch sitting on some old crates in the back where it's a bit quieter away from the road noise. It’s just how things go here at the chowk every single day, keeping things moving for the locals.
