Shukla Manufacturers

Shukla Manufacturers is tucked away in V/P Ranai, out here in the Baikunthpur area. It’s a quiet place compared to the big cities, which suits us just fine. We have a small shed where most of the making happens. It isn't a huge factory with hundreds of workers, just a handful of us who have lived around here most of our lives. We started this because we wanted to make things right here in the village instead of moving away. The roads can be a bit rough during the monsoon, but we still get our supplies in and our products out. Inside, the shelves are mostly full of raw materials and finished bits waiting to be picked up. We don't have a secretary or a formal reception. Usually, if the gate is open, someone is inside working. We drink a lot of tea while we figure out the day's tasks. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the morning fixing a motor or a belt, but that's just part of it. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name. Most people know where we are anyway. It’s practical work. We don’t use complicated software or have long lunches. We just try to make things that last and stay out of trouble. It’s a simple life in Ranai, and we’re happy to keep the machines running as long as there is work to do.
