Jai Puri Engine

Jai Puri Engine is located out in Village Koregaon Bhima. We are quite a bit away from the main Pune city center, which is fine by us. The shop is near the Post Office in Koregaon Bhima, so it’s easy enough to find if you are in the area. Being in a village, the pace is a bit different here. We deal with engines, so things are naturally quite greasy and loud. The workshop has a dirt floor in some parts and old concrete in others. There is always an engine block sitting on a stand or some parts soaking in a tray of kerosene. It’s the kind of place where you don't want to wear nice clothes. We have a few benches that are stained with oil and a shelf full of old manuals that are falling apart. The sun gets pretty hot out here in the Tehsil Haveli area, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze there is. You can hear the goats and the cows from the neighboring plots sometimes, mixed in with the sound of a wrench hitting the floor. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. Most people just pull up in their trucks or tractors when they have a problem. We’ve been here in Koregaon Bhima for a long time, just fixing things and getting our hands dirty every day.
