Vedanta/Sterlite/Balco

Our spot is at Quarter Number D2 in Sector 2 of Balco Nagar. Being back here in Korba, Chhattisgarh, feels right because this is where so much of the action happens. We are part of the Vedanta, Sterlite, and Balco family, and we work out of this small quarter. It’s a very humble setting, honestly. There’s a small desk, some chairs, and plenty of files related to the local operations. People in Sector 2 are mostly our coworkers or neighbors, so there is a real sense of community here. We don’t bother with fancy slogans or big mission statements. We just focus on the actual work that needs to be done every day. Whether it is tracking shipments or managing local staff details, it all happens right here. The pin code 495684 is basically our whole world during office hours. The weather in CG can be tough, especially in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. We like the fact that our office is right in the middle of where people live and work. It makes everything feel more connected and less like a distant corporate entity. We just take things one day at a time, making sure we stay on top of the requirements and keep the lines of communication open. It’s a simple, honest way to work that fits the atmosphere of the township perfectly.
