Vedanta Resources

We operate out of Krishna Vihar, which is part of the Ntpc Township in Jamnipali. Our address is C 892. It is a pretty standard spot in the Korba district. We handle the resource side of things for Vedanta from here. Being inside the township means everything is close by, which makes it easier for us to get around. The office itself is just a regular house that we have converted into a workspace. It has got a bit of a lived-in feel, which I think makes people more comfortable when they stop by. We do not spend money on expensive furniture or decorations. We just have our desks, our computers, and a lot of files. The area is fairly green compared to the main town, so it is a bit more peaceful. We keep a regular schedule, starting early and finishing when the work is done. Sometimes we have to stay late if there is a problem at one of the sites, but usually, it is a steady rhythm. People around Jamnipali are mostly connected to the industry, so everyone understands what we do. We do not have to explain ourselves much. We just do the work, keep our records straight, and try to be good neighbors. It is a simple, honest way to run our branch of the operation. We have been in C 892 for a while now and it has become our second home. We just focus on the daily resource management tasks and keep things moving.
