Vedanta Resources

We are Vedanta Resources and we operate out of B-222 in Sector 2 of Balconagar. Korba is a place that never really sleeps because of all the industry, and we’re right in the middle of it. Our office is a basic unit in the sector. It’s where we keep our files and handle the daily resource operations. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but that makes it a little quieter for us to get things done. We don’t have any fancy decorations or soft carpets. It’s just tile floors and metal desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or going through spreadsheets. The air in Korba can be a bit thick sometimes, but you get used to the smell of the plants after a while. We know most of the people living in the blocks around us. Sometimes they stop by just to say hello or ask a question. We don’t have a corporate vibe at all. It’s more like a small team working in a shared space. We have a small kitchenette where we make our own coffee and eat lunch. The building is older, so the windows sometimes rattle when the big trucks go by, but it’s home to us. We don’t have any grand statements to make. We just do the resource work that needs doing and try to keep everything organized in our little corner of Sector 2. It's just a regular day here.
