Vedanta Group,Balco,Korba

You can find us at 178 Sector -1 in Balconagar. This is a B Type house that we use for the Vedanta Group work here in Korba. Chhattisgarh is where the action is for mining and aluminium, so being right here in Balco makes sense. It’s a company town feel, and everyone knows everyone. The office is just a part of the house really. We’ve got desks set up where there used to be a dining table. It’s practical and keeps our costs down. We don't have any flashy signs outside. Most people who need to find us already know where we are. We spend our time looking at reports and talking to the plant guys. It’s dusty work in Korba, but we like it well enough. The rainy season makes the roads a bit of a mess, but we still show up every morning. We don’t talk about things like excellence or any of those big words. We just try to get the numbers right and keep things moving. It’s a small group of us here. We share a pot of coffee and get through the files. Living and working in Sector -1 means we don't have a long commute. We just walk over and get started. It’s a simple way to live and work in the 495684 area. We have been here for years and the routine hasn't changed much. We just do our bit and keep going without any complaints or fancy talk.
