Satya Dall Industries

Satya Dall Industries is based in the village of Devgaon, right in the Mungeli tehsil. We are situated near Lormi Road, which is where most of the traffic passes through. Our mill is a central part of our daily lives here. We process dal, so there’s always a hum coming from the machines and a bit of grain dust in the air. We’ve been running this mill for quite a few years now. It’s a family operation, so we all pitch in with the work. We get the raw material from the farmers nearby and then we clean and split it. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving sacks and watching the grinders. We don't have a fancy office or any air conditioning. We just have a few chairs under the shade when we need a break. The village is quiet, but the mill keeps things lively during the day. We don't do any big promotions or have a sales team. People from the surrounding areas just know where we are. If they need processed dal, they come to Devgaon. We just focus on doing a good job with the grain we get. Sometimes the monsoon makes the road a bit difficult, but we manage to keep things moving. It’s not a complicated business. We just work hard and try to stay consistent. If you find yourself on Lormi Road, you can’t miss us.
