Sarla Associates

Sarla Associates is right on the Main Road. It’s a simple spot, easy to find if you’re driving by, though parking can be a bit of a headache during the rush hour. We do a lot of paperwork and consulting for people in the neighborhood. The office is mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to get too full. It’s not a corporate place with a receptionist or anything. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. We spend most of our time looking at forms and talking on the phone with various offices. The Main Road is always loud, so we keep the windows shut most of the time, but you can still hear the buses going by. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time, and the neighbors are all friendly enough. Sometimes we share a pot of tea with the guys from the shop next door when things are slow. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to get the work done. It’s not very exciting stuff, but it’s important for the people who need help with their paperwork or legal filings. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep the files organized, even though the piles of paper seem to grow on their own every night. We've been here long enough that the paint is peeling a bit near the ceiling.
