S L Sharma is located over by Sector-5 in the Balco Town Ship. We are right near Q.N. 991, so it’s easy to find if you live around here. Working in a township is a bit different than being in the middle of a big city. It’s quieter, and you see the same faces every day. We’ve been set up here for a long time. Our space isn't very large, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. Most of the work involves keeping up with the local needs of the people living nearby. We spend a lot of time on our feet. Sometimes the weather gets really hot, and we have to take breaks in the shade. It’s a humble sort of life. We don't have any fancy equipment or big computer screens everywhere. It’s mostly just notebooks and pens for keeping track of things. My cousin helps out when it gets busy. We talk to the neighbors quite a bit. It feels more like a community than a business sometimes. We try to be helpful when someone comes in with a problem they can't solve. There’s no big manual for how we do things. We just learned as we went along. The township has changed a lot over the years, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We like it that way. It’s a steady pace of work and we know what to expect most mornings when we open up.
