Rathod Stationery

Rathod Stationery is a small shop located at B/5 in Dindayal Market. The market is always humming with activity, especially in the mornings when all the shops are opening up. Our space is quite cramped because we have to fit so many different types of stationery items. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling filled with notebooks, pens, markers, and staplers. Sometimes it is hard to find exactly what you are looking for right away, but we know where everything is hidden. The floor is made of old stone and it shows its age. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that hum loudly all day. Dindayal Market is a local landmark, so we get all sorts of people walking in. Some are students looking for cheap pens and others are office workers buying supplies for their desks. We don't have a computer system for our sales; we just write everything down in a big book. It is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We have been in this same spot for years and know most of the people who walk past our door. It gets very dusty with the street traffic, so we have to wipe down the counters every few hours. We don't have any fancy advertisements. Our shop name is just painted on a board above the door. It’s a simple, hardworking life in the middle of the market.
