Our office is over at 44 Civic Center in Balco. It is a functional space where we handle a lot of the day-to-day paperwork and coordination tasks. The building itself is pretty familiar to anyone who lives around here. We deal with resources and getting things moving from one place to another. It's mostly phones ringing and people checking schedules. The desks are usually piled with files because there is always something that needs to be signed or filed away. We have been in this location for a bit, and we know the other people working in the Civic Center quite well. It’s a lot of logistical work, making sure people are where they need to be and that the equipment is accounted for. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to catch up on the back-office stuff that tends to pile up. The air conditioning in the office struggles sometimes when it’s really hot out, but we get by with a couple of fans. We aren't a big flashy corporation, just a group of people trying to keep things organized and efficient. It can be a headache when things don't go according to plan, but we just figure it out as we go. It’s regular work for regular people. We stay busy with the local projects and try to keep our head down and do the job right every day.
