About Process Technician Gr.Ii – Metals & Minerals in Korba
My home is in M.P. Nagar in Korba, right at EWS 273. Living in Chhattisgarh, you get used to the industrial vibe, especially here where power and mining are big. I work as a Grade II Process Technician. It’s a title that basically means I’ve been around long enough to know how to handle the tricky stuff. My day usually starts early before the sun gets too high. Niharika is the local post area, and it's a busy little neighborhood. The house is a typical government-style quarters, simple and functional. I keep a lot of my manuals and tools there. Most of my work involves checking systems and making sure the output stays steady. It’s not something you can just learn from a book; you need to feel how the machines are running. There are times when the pressure is high, but that’s just the nature of the job. I’ve seen younger guys come and go, but I’ve stuck with it. Korba is a place that rewards hard work. We don't have much time for fancy talk. It’s about getting the task done so the next shift can take over without any headaches. When I’m off, I usually just relax at home or chat with the neighbors about the local news. It’s a quiet life outside of the plant noise. I've grown to like the routine of it all, even the early alarms and the sound of the rain on the roof during the monsoon.
