Medicine Centre

If you’re looking for the Medicine Centre, you just have to head over to the Permanent Shopping Centre in Sector-5. We are at unit number 3. It’s a handy location for anyone living around Balco Nagar. Korba can get pretty hot in the summer, so we’re glad to be inside the shopping complex. We’ve been here for a while, serving the local families and workers from the nearby plants. It’s a simple shop, really. We keep the shelves stocked with the usual things people need. We don't have a lot of extra space, so every inch of the counter is used for something. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood stop by on their way home from school. It’s a friendly atmosphere. We don't use any complicated systems; we just know our customers and what they usually look for. The shopping centre itself has seen better days, but it’s still the heart of the community here in Sector-5. We open up early and stay late most days because people need stuff at all hours. We don’t bother with big advertisements or glossy brochures. People find us because they live nearby or someone told them we had what they needed. It’s honest work, and we like being part of the daily life in Korba. Dealing with the heat and the power cuts is just part of the job. We just keep the doors open and do our bit. There's always something to clean or organize.
