We are set up right on Link Road in Janjgir. If you know where Jagani Celebration is, we’re just across from it. It’s a good spot because parents can find us easily. This is a place for the little ones to start their schooling. The building is painted with bright colors, which you’d expect for a place like this. It gets quite noisy in the mornings when the kids arrive. We have a small play area and classrooms that are usually full of toys and drawings. It’s not a corporate office environment; it’s a bit messy and full of energy. The teachers here are local and they’ve been with us for a good bit of time. We don’t do things in a very formal way. We just focus on making sure the kids are safe and learning something while they are here. Janjgir is a small enough place that we know most of the families who come through our doors. Sometimes we have events in front of the building, and it gets even more crowded. The Link Road traffic can be a bit much in the afternoons, but we manage. We spend our days cleaning up spills, helping with crafts, and making sure everyone is having a decent time. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the last kid goes home. We don’t have a big front desk, just a space where we talk to parents. That’s pretty much us.
