Larsen & Toubro Ltd

We are currently set up at the Ntpc Sipat site, specifically working out of Stage-1 in the C&I section. Since we are in the Bilaspur area, the heat can be a lot to handle, especially during those long summer months. This Larsen&Toubro Ltd office is basically right in the middle of all the industrial action. It’s definitely not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit or a tie. Most of us are in work boots and safety gear most of the day. Our daily life revolves around the power plant operations and making sure our part of the project stays on track. There’s a lot of metal, dust, and concrete everywhere you look. It’s a massive site, so we do a lot of walking back and forth between different sections to check on things. We have a small office space for the paperwork and some computers, but we are rarely sitting down for very long. The canteen nearby is where we all catch up over lunch and complain about the weather. It’s a hardworking atmosphere, and we don’t really have time for anything flashy or corporate. We just want to get the job done right and go home. Working at Sipat means being part of something big, even if our day-to-day tasks seem small. It's a gritty, real-world job and we’re used to the noise.
