Kitab Ghar

Kitab Ghar is located at Shop No 17 in the Mahanadi Complex on Niharika Road in Korba. It is a place filled with books and stationery, and that is how we like it. We have stacks of notebooks, pens, and all sorts of reading material for people in the neighborhood. Some days it is quiet and you can just hear the sound of pages turning, but when the school season starts, it gets very busy with parents and kids looking for textbooks. We try to keep things in order, but with so many books, sometimes the shelves get a bit messy. We spend time unpacking boxes and making sure we have what people are looking for. Chhattisgarh gets pretty warm, so the shop is a nice place to get out of the sun for a bit while you look for something to read. We aren't a big chain store, just a local bookshop where we know many of the students and teachers who come in. We don't do much fancy advertising, people just know we are here in the Mahanadi Complex. It is a simple life, surrounded by paper and ink. We help people find a specific book or just pick out a good pen. Every day is a little different depending on who walks through the door and what they are looking to learn or read about. We just keep the shelves stocked and wait for the next reader.
